Milenski Entranski.

We're not doing a "wrapped" for 2025. The lessons are in the notes, the gratitude for all the support is ongoing, the pains of the downs were felt, the highs of the ups as well, the landlord called to raise the rent as we move into the eurozone, the hopes for 2026 are up - only time will tell what we'll accomplish.
We had a special guest at our rehearsal - Emil Mihaylov. A former financier, now local bakery owner and luthier extraordinaire. But most importantly a very kind-hearted man who knows what he's talking about and does much more than talking. He stopped by to showcase Sparky, a custom-made guitar you'd be afraid to touch, and he'd beg you to get your hands all over it. First thing you notice is the sparkling blue top as if made of a disco queen diva's dress. Surprisingly light and flawless playability across the "zebra" baked maple neck. With a full-body sound you'd swear is coming from a semi-hollow guitar. Especially made tremolo, sweet, sweet single-coil pick-ups and some high-science locking tuning keys. Probably a myriad of other special properties that really are best explained by Emil himself. Tony fiddled with it; others didn't dare touch it for long. Sad thing is that special craftsmen like this are having a hard time finding paying customers on the local scene. Mostly because we're still a bit afraid to take something as special to the unpredictable environment of a live show. We're quite, quite tempted though... Let us know if you'd like to meet with the master and/or check his creations in person. Here's the site, but you know it's difficult to appreciate this online: https://djerjinski.com/
That was the last rehearsal of the year. We went through some of our regular repertoire with Milenski. Who's Milenski, you ask? Just a caring dad and amicable software developer - familiar profile. A surgical slapper with the precision of an atom clock. And now our new bass player. The story goes: Kalo informs us he's on his way out, we call Milenski, he agrees and starts learning the material. He's brought in his now upgraded gear, still learning to deal with the IEM just like everybody else in the band, so we're now on the same page and more or less same level of preparation. We've worked on a few new songs together, as well as fixed up a few of the old, unreleased ones. Hence, you heard it first as we officially announce the new source of low-frequency soundwaves that we'll be coming your way the next chance we get - Milenski on bass. But you can call him Milen, too. Aren't we lucky and giddy to have him.

Thursday slipped through the fingers while we were setting up a home studio where we plan to scratch our non-rehearsal room demos. Installing drivers, wrestling with audio software and plug-ins, linking hardware, restarting laptops, climbing through and out of rabbit holes, figuring out what's missing and compiling a wish list for Santa's consideration. A few more steps and we should be ready to collaborate more effectively individually and in small groups, as well as achieve bring-your-own-studio gear maturity level. Once again, it becomes clear that making music is around 10% of making music. If that.

Plans for 2026 are already in motion. We're trying to set up a Zoom call with some people that could help us make things happen. So, keep your fingers crossed for that. The to-do list includes things like deciding on the release schedule, lining up gigs, and fighting tooth-and-nail for time and chances to enjoy the experience. Simple as that.
We THANK you all for sticking with us and fueling our delusions of middle-age grandeur! Enjoy every second of your certainly to be shorter than expected holiday season and go for maximum hugs policy when surrounded by loved ones. Cheeeeeers!
